Annexation and Zoning

Ocmulgee can handle your annexation and zoning needs by providing an Annexation & Zoning Specialist.  The specialists represent developers at Planning & Zoning and City Council Hearings and handle all paperwork that is required by the city or county.  They present a detailed and attractive presentation to help city officials better understand the goals and objectives of the developer.  This service takes the annexation and zoning burden off
the developer. 

In 2005-06, Ocmulgee was very involved with implementing a new ordinance with the City of Perry. Conservation Subdivision Option was a new concept to the Middle Georgia area. Conservation Subdivisions are developments of homes surrounded by woods, wetlands, and other undisturbed green spaces. In a conservation development, natural drainage patterns guide the layout, only building sites are graded, character of site is preserved, no storm drain system required, impervious cover reduced, and provides open space for community.
