Commercial Project SamplesOcmulgee partners with the construction contractor to provide the client with a complete facility within budget and on schedule. Designs include grading and drainage design, stormwater analysis and detention design, water and sewer plans, and soil erosion and sedimentation control plan. POINTE SHOPPING CENTER: Ocmulgee provided surveying and civil engineering services for a 5-acre commercial site in Warner Robins, Georgia. The site is located at the corner of Highway 247 and Sandy Run Road. Ocmulgee designed several conceptual site layouts in accordance with city ordinances and the owners’ specification for the developers’ approval. A site plan, landscaping plan, traffic flow plan, and hydrology study were all executed under this work order. Best Management Practices (BMPs) were implemented to reduce sediment runoff to a minimum. After completing engineering services and plans were approved, by the City of Warner Robins, Ocmulgee provided construction stakeout for storm drainage system, parking lot, driveways, turn lanes, sanitary sewer system, and water distribution system. Ocmulgee established all property corners after infrastructure activities ceased. POINTE COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION: Ocmulgee provided surveying and civil engineering services for a 13.07-acre site. This site is adjacent to LANDING POINTE SHOPPING CENTER and consists of a subdivision with 9 commercial lots. Ocmulgee designed several conceptual site layouts in accordance with city ordinances. Ocmulgee represented the developer’s/owner’s of this site for rezoning of the property. A clearing and grubbing plan, utility plan, boundary and topographic surveys, preliminary plat, commercial subdivision design, hydrology study, grinder pump design and layout were all conducted under this work order. After completing engineering services and approved by the City of Warner Robins, Ocmulgee provided construction staking, final plat, and as-built for final recording. SANDY RIDGE COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION: This 13.04-acre site is in the planning stages of development. This proposed development will be a professional office park. It will consist of 16 commercial lots and is located at the corner of Sandy Run Road and Old Hawkinsville Road. This site is adjacent to SANDY POINTE. Ocmulgee is representing owners in rezoning and conceptual planning
